HCC 173 All out and in return ESPOO CC scored 133 All out. After this win HCC won the third consective SM 50 Championship. Kudo's HCC
HCC also won the Open-T20 in 2009.

HCC club is organising a get-together on 17th September to celebrate the Finnísh SM-50 League Championship Victory:
On 17th September HCC will be holding a get-together in Gautam Bhaskar's
Restaurant located in Haaga,to celebrate the Finnish SM-50 League 2008 championship victory.
Every member is requested to join the celebrations around 7 PM. Food and Drinks(expect a single only) will be served on the occasion.

Helsinki CC are the 2008 Finnish SM-50 League Champions:
Saturday-30th August 2008, Helsinki Cricket Club defeated Vantaa CC in one
of the best SM-league games played ever in Finland. HCC's youngsters and
the old boys proved that cricket is all about the team game rather than one
man show. HCC won the toss and elected to bat.HCC's Openers looked good
in the beginning,but because of few bad umpiring decisions which included
the wicket of HCC Skipper, HCC cautiously registered a total of 163 in 34
overs.
In return,Vantaa CC lost first wicket on the first ball of second half-a great
catching show from HCC's fielders. After losing first two wickets on mere 15
runs, Vantaa CC was climbing up the target very fast-because of some great
shots from Milan. Around 90's,Oba picked up the most dangerous strikker,
Milan- who had struck a hat-trick of sixes from the previous over.
After this important wicket HCC was un-stoppable.No VCC batsman could
tackle the brilliant spell from HCC's bowlers. Indeed, Obadullah took his career
best of 6 wickets haul. Not to forget some great fielding and bowling efforts
from HCC's player,Vantaa CC were reduced to 147 allout. This was all in 2008,
and HCC won. HCC is 2008 Finnish SM league Champion.

Match 4:
In SM-50 league,HCC lost the 4th game to EspooCC. Espoo won the toss
and elected to bat. Espoo scored 298/8.In reply HCC were allout on 114.
Espoo CC won by 184 runs.

Match 3:
In SM-50 league,HCC won the third game against VantaaCC.Vantaa CC won
the toss and elected to bat.Vantaa CC were all out on 102. Thanks to some
good bowling from Manoj,Abbas,Oba and Zahoor.In the second innings HCC
had a good start but then soon wickets start falling and HCC were around
45/5. Then a good 6th wicket partnership between Zahid and Zahoor assured
HCC to win the game by 5 wickets.

HCC 270/9 ,SKK 170 all out.HCC won by 100 runs.

HCC Vs FPC: FPC 220 all out,HCC 222 for 7.HCC won by 3 wickets.
